Step 1 · Where will Cardly run?

Enter the exact address where you uploaded Cardly: for example https://shop.example.com or http://localhost/cardly. We filled in the current address to help you; check it and change it if needed. You do not need a VPS.

For testing on your computer, use the exact local URL, including the port when applicable (e.g. http://localhost:8000). Camera scanning on phones requires HTTPS and a reachable address.

Optional settings: region and loyalty program / Loyalty program (optional)

Customers can always select any supported country and calling code.

The application remains available in English and Spanish.

Step 2 · MySQL connection (only if required)

Step 2 (only when needed): In your hosting control panel, create an empty MySQL database and a user with permission to access it. Enter its name, username, and password here. For local installations, use the details from your local MySQL server. No SQL import is needed. If your server provides database credentials, these fields will be pre-filled.

Your hosting provider supplies the database password. Do not use your Cardly administrator password here.

A secure administrator password and recovery key are generated automatically. Save both after installation.

Step 3: Verify the address and, only if required, your MySQL connection. Then click Install Cardly. Tables and a secure administrator account are created automatically. No SMTP or manual SQL import is required. The database must be empty.
